Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt Department: Warehouse Salary: $70K-$80K + Benefit Work Style: On-site Schedule: Regular weekday schedule; weekend/holiday work may occasionally be required based on operational needs Position Overview A global logistics-related company is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead warehouse staff. This position is responsible for supervising receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory control, and other warehouse activities while ensuring safety, accuracy, productivity, and customer service standards are met. The ideal candidate has strong warehouse operations experience, proven supervisory skills, and hands-on knowledge of forklift and warehouse equipment. The role includes responsibility for directing warehouse personnel, maintaining smooth daily operations, meeting customer requirements, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and operating procedures. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, auditing, loading/unloading, and inventory control Ensure orders and warehouse activities are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule Assign daily work, monitor workflow, productivity, quality, and employee performance Train, coach, and support warehouse employees on operational procedures and equipment safety Troubleshoot shipping, receiving, inventory, transportation, and customer-related issues Maintain accurate warehouse records, reports, and operational logs Monitor employee schedules and overtime based on workload Support warehouse budget and expense management Coordinate with outside vendors such as trucking companies and staffing agencies Maintain warehouse safety, housekeeping, and equipment standards Assist with periodic physical inventory Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity, and service quality Serve as backup to the Warehouse Manager when needed The position also includes employee coaching, safety oversight, process improvement, vendor coordination, and support for inventory and other warehouse projects. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Approximately 6-8 years of warehouse experience, including supervisory and/or leadership experience Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory practices, safety procedures, and recordkeeping Proven ability to supervise employees, delegate work, monitor performance, and maintain accountability Forklift certification required Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to read and understand shipping documents, packing lists, and warehouse instructions Basic math skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Ability to communicate effectively in English Flexible, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment
