Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Job Summary SpeedX is seeking a motivated, hands-on Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations and lead the warehouse team at our Troy, Michigan facility. In this role, you will coordinate daily workflows, supervise staff, maintain service quality, and improve operational performance. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who solves problems quickly and fosters a safe, productive, team-oriented work environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee receiving, sorting, staging, dispatching, and outbound warehouse activities. Ensure packages are processed accurately and efficiently to meet operational deadlines. Monitor workflows and allocate resources to maintain productivity and service quality. Resolve day-to-day operational challenges to keep work on track. Team Leadership & Development Supervise warehouse staff and operational support personnel. Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and hold team members accountable. Support employee onboarding, coaching, and ongoing training. Build a positive team culture centered on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Performance & Process Improvement Track and analyze operational KPIs, including productivity, package processing accuracy, dispatch efficiency, and overall service performance. Develop action plans to address performance gaps and improve results. Maintain accurate operational records and reports. Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce bottlenecks. Coordination & Communication Serve as the primary contact for warehouse-related operational matters. Coordinate with Transportation, Network Operations, Human Resources, and other departments to support business objectives. Promptly escalate critical operational issues and keep leadership informed. Provide regular updates on operational performance, staffing, and warehouse activities. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with company policies, operating procedures, and workplace safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse. Promote safety awareness and operational excellence. Qualifications At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, transportation, or a related field. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
