Warehouse Operations Manager
Peak ImportsWe are a small, growing bedding products business looking for a dependable and motivated Warehouse & Operations Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on position and an important role within our company. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our warehouse, including receiving, organizing, inventory, and shipping bedding products such as mattresses, adjustable bases, mattress protectors, sheets, and pillows. Because this is a small operation, you will work closely with the owner and will be the primary person responsible for keeping the warehouse running smoothly. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, stays organized, and can work independently without needing constant supervision. We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual who can take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our warehouse. Because this is a small operation, this person needs to be comfortable working independently, staying organized, managing priorities, and taking initiative without needing constant direction. warehouse experience is preferred , but attitude and reliability is more important than having years of experience. We are willing to train the right person. I'd describe the ideal candidate as someone who: “Takes ownership of the warehouse and doesn't need to be constantly told what needs to be done.” What We're Looking For The right person for this position is: Dependable and punctual. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Organized and detail-oriented. Able to prioritize tasks and manage their time effectively. Comfortable working with computers, email, and basic inventory/shipping systems. A good communicator who will keep the owner informed of issues or concerns. Someone who understands that there is always something that needs to be done and is willing to take initiative. What You’ll Do: Manage daily warehouse operations Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe Manage workflow and priorities throughout the day Identify and resolve operational issues Regularly communicate with customers Physical requirements Ability to regularly lift and move furniture Comfortable working in a warehouse environment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Shipping & receiving Pull and prepare outgoing orders Verify products before they leave Ensure paperwork is accurate Load and unload trucks Coordinate incoming deliveries Inspect incoming merchandise Technology & paperwork Email and communication systems Computer proficiency (Microsoft office / QuickBooks) Shipping/receiving documentation Why Join Us?
