Role Description The Warehouse Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Charlotte, NC, responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe operations. This role manages receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes, while maintaining optimal inventory levels and ensuring data accuracy in warehouse systems. The Warehouse Operations Manager leads and schedules warehouse staff, provides coaching and performance feedback, and promotes compliance with safety standards and company policies. The position works closely with customer service, sales, and logistics teams to meet service expectations, resolve operational issues, and support process improvements. The role also involves monitoring KPIs, identifying operational risks, implementing best practices, and participating in strategic planning for warehouse capacity and resource needs. Qualifications Strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership, performance management, and staff scheduling. Proficiency in Operations Management and Warehouse Management, with experience optimizing workflows and implementing process improvements. Experience in Inventory Control, including cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and use of warehouse or ERP systems. Customer Service skills to support internal and external stakeholders, resolve issues, and maintain service-level commitments. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments. Ability to analyze operational metrics and use data to drive decisions. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Previous experience in warehouse or distribution center management; experience in consumer goods or retail distribution is beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, or related field is preferred.
