Role Overview: As America’s #1 Magnetic Building Sets Brand, MAGNA-TILES is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join the team. The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and continuous improvement of the company’s warehouse and distribution operations for the company’s 1 facility located in Bolingbrook, IL. This role oversees all aspects of inbound receiving, inventory management, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, and order fulfillment across wholesale, direct to consumer (DTC), and retailer drop-ship operations. This position is responsible for building and maintaining a safe, organized, accurate, and highly productive warehouse operation. The Warehouse Operations Manager will establish performance expectations, develop and coach the warehouse team consisting of 12+ employees, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify opportunities for improvement, and lead initiatives that increase productivity, accuracy, service levels, and scalability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader who combines strong warehouse fundamentals with a continuous improvement mindset and a strong appreciation for the role technology plays in driving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. They should be comfortable leveraging systems, data, and process improvements in a fast-paced CPG environment where customer requirements, order volumes, and business priorities can change quickly. Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day warehouse operations, leveraging WMS, ERP, and process technology to drive accurate, efficient, and on-time fulfillment across wholesale, DTC, and drop-ship channels. Oversee fulfillment for major retail customers including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Meijer, and specialty accounts, ensuring compliance with routing guides, labeling, shipping requirements, and customer-specific system standards. Manage inbound operations including unloading, inspection, counting, labeling, putaway, and system receiving, with a focus on inventory visibility and transaction accuracy. Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, discrepancy resolution, and data-driven slotting strategies. Coordinate daily labor and workflow planning using order volume, shipping deadlines, carrier schedules, and operational data to optimize performance. Establish and maintain SOPs for receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, and shipping, incorporating best practices, standardization, and scalable system workflows. Supervise, coach, and develop a 12+ person warehouse team, while driving adoption of technology, reporting tools, and process improvements. Maintain a strong safety-first, OSHA-compliant environment, including training, inspections, certification tracking, and corrective action management. Track and improve KPIs related to productivity, inventory accuracy, order accuracy, space utilization, and service levels through reporting, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner cross-functionally with Customer Operations, Order Processing, and Supply/Demand Planning to resolve issues, improve execution, and support technology-enabled operational improvements. What You’ll Bring To The Table: 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment leadership experience with progressive responsibility for people and daily operations. Experience in CPG, consumer products, e-commerce, retail, or other high-volume fulfillment environments. Experience managing both B2B/wholesale and DTC fulfillment, including retailer-specific requirements. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, shipping, inventory control, and cycle counting. Experience with WMS and ERP systems, KPI management, and using data to improve performance. Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and OSHA requirements.
