Position Overview Boomship LLC is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Production Manager to oversee the daily production and workflow of our warehouse operations. This position is responsible for keeping the warehouse floor organized, productive, and on schedule. The Warehouse Production Manager will oversee daily picking, packing, receiving, inventory movement, returns, and outbound operations while coordinating with department supervisors and warehouse employees. This is a hands-on leadership position. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly on the warehouse floor, managing employees, solving operational problems as they arise, and holding the team accountable for productivity, accuracy, safety, and deadlines. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily warehouse operations, including picking, packing, receiving, returns, inventory replenishment, and outbound shipments. Coordinate daily workloads and assign employees based on order volume and operational priorities. Monitor production throughout the day to ensure orders are completed accurately and within shipping deadlines. Work with department supervisors and leads to maintain efficient workflow across all warehouse areas. Monitor employee productivity, provide coaching, and address performance or attendance concerns with management. Coordinate staffing and workflow for high-volume days, container unloading, inbound shipments, and large outbound shipments. Ensure inventory is properly received, handled, staged, labeled, palletized, stocked, and moved throughout the warehouse. Maintain an organized and safe warehouse while enforcing company procedures and proper equipment practices. Identify workflow problems and make adjustments to improve productivity and keep operations on schedule. Communicate staffing, inventory, equipment, safety, and production concerns to management and step into warehouse operations when needed. Experience Previous warehouse, fulfillment, distribution, or production experience required. Previous supervisory or warehouse leadership experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse operations. Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities simultaneously. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to hold employees accountable while maintaining a professional workplace. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Basic computer skills required. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping software, or inventory systems preferred. Ability to learn new warehouse software and operational procedures. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work on the warehouse floor for extended periods. Forklift, reach truck, or other material-handling equipment experience is a plus. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who takes ownership of the warehouse floor. The right person will not simply wait for problems to be reported. They will actively monitor production, recognize when a department is falling behind, move employees where they are needed, address productivity concerns, and keep the warehouse moving toward its daily goals. This position requires someone who can balance leadership, accountability, organization, urgency, and teamwork while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This is an on-site, hands-on warehouse management position and is not a desk-only management role.
