Warehouse Operations Coordinator (Inventory & Shipping) Where: Tacoma & Kent, Washington Type: Temporary / Contract with Temp-to-Hire opportunities Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend (overtime as needed) Compensation: $17.00–$22.00/hour, based on shift and experience Is This You? Your Core Responsibilities Order Fulfillment & Shipping Pick products precisely using RF scanners, pick tickets, and a WMS. Pack, label, wrap, and flat-pack merchandise to protect it in transit. Assemble and stage packing lists; shrink-wrap pallets and load outbound trucks securely. Deliver value-added work: light assembly, re-pack, labeling, and ticketing per client needs. Receiving & Inventory Unload inbound trailers; verify manifests, sort shipments, and note any visible damage. Assist with daily stock checks, cycle counts, and replenishment to align shelf counts with system data. Move materials using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks; on-site training for electric pallet jacks/forklifts available. Safety & Housekeeping Maintain a clean, orderly work area—keep aisles free of shrink wrap, pallets, and cardboard. Perform quick pre-use equipment inspections and escalate issues immediately. Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE (closed-toe footwear included). What You Bring Prior warehouse/distribution/logistics experience preferred; entry-level candidates with strong work ethic welcome. Comfort using RF devices or basic inventory tools is a plus. Consistent attendance and punctuality. Strong problem-solving, time management, and ability to react quickly to verbal direction and safety warnings. Physical & Work Environment Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach throughout the shift.
