Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Operations Coordinator reporting to the Department Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely loading and unloading of products and materials. Your responsibilities will include managing yard movements, coordinating external transfers, and maintaining an efficient shipping and receiving schedule. You may specialize in specific functions or handle multiple areas depending on site needs.
Main Responsibilities:
• Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure compliance with food quality and safety standards from corporate and governing bodies.
• Check in carrier drivers, assign dock doors, and coordinate trailer moves in the yard.
• Maintain accurate records of loaded trailers and issue daily status updates.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing and preparing reports.
• Coordinate the delivery of raw materials and verify against packing lists.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure product availability for shipping.
• Conduct daily verifications of materials needed for production.
• Efficiently manage inbound dunnage and recycling operations.
• Process finished good shipments and prepare necessary paperwork for invoicing.
• Verify carrier appointment availability and reschedule when necessary.
• Perform cycle counts on raw materials and collaborate with Inventory Control.
• Document discrepancies in deliveries and inform management.
• Handle shipping of lab samples as required.
• Monitor trailer seals and report any issues following inspections.
• Release drivers after loading or unloading is complete, reporting any driver concerns.
• Track and coordinate shipments and deliveries, ensuring prompt communication.
• Verify order completion and conduct paperwork acknowledgments post-loading.
• Manage product transportation between warehouses and off-site locations.
• Adjust pallet counts in SAP as needed.
• Reconcile invoices with purchase orders using SAP Open Text.
• Maintain cleanliness in the receiving docks and raw material storage areas.
• Track service statuses and coordinate maintenance when required.
• Assist with dispatching and billing as necessary.
• Represent the company positively and professionally at all times.
Required Qualifications:
• Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong computer navigation skills.
• Familiarity with HAZMAT shipping requirements and D.O.T. specifications.
• Valid Forklift certification from an approved trainer.
• Ability to multitask effectively.

Education and Experience:
