Warehouse Operations Associate Location: Oakville, ON Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Compensation: $25.00-$27.00 per hour, based on experience Start Date: Immediate About the Role NRI Industrial Sales is looking for a reliable, hands-on, and mechanically inclined Warehouse Operations Associate to join our Oakville team. This is a full-time, on-site position being added to support our continued growth and increasing warehouse operations. The role involves regular forklift operation and material handling, including moving industrial equipment and materials throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks and overseas containers, preparing shipments, assisting with equipment dismantling, and supporting general warehouse activities. We are looking for someone with previous hands-on forklift experience who is comfortable working with industrial materials, performing physical work, and taking ownership of day-to-day warehouse responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a forklift to move, load, unload, and position industrial equipment and materials. Load and unload trucks, trailers, and overseas shipping containers. Move, organize, stage, and store materials and equipment throughout the warehouse. Pack and prepare overseas containers and other shipments. Perform manual material handling and general warehouse work. Assist with dismantling machinery, equipment, and industrial components using hand and power tools. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Follow company health and safety procedures and use required PPE. Perform other warehouse and operational duties as required. Qualifications Valid forklift certification is required. Previous hands-on experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial environment is required. Previous warehouse, industrial, manufacturing, or similar hands-on experience. Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools. Able to safely lift, move, and handle materials as required. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices. Additional safety certifications are preferred. Previous equipment dismantling and rigging experience is preferred. Experience loading and unloading trucks and shipping containers is an asset. Hours & Schedule The regular schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional weekend and overtime work may be required depending on operational and shipping needs. Advance notice will be provided where possible when weekend or overtime hours are required.
