ill be central to maintaining accurate inventory records and preparing shipments, directly contributing to Frito-Lay’s goal of delivering high-quality snacks efficiently and reliably.
Role and Responsibilities:
This role focuses on the effective handling, organization, and storage of inventory, ensuring all products are correctly tracked and ready for distribution. You will work closely with logistics colleagues to sustain streamlined warehouse operations and meet daily production objectives. Success in this position requires attentiveness, teamwork, and active participation in physical tasks to maintain a productive warehouse environment.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming shipments to maintain precise inventory records
• Pick, pack, and stage products for shipment in accordance with company standards
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Keep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety policies
• Confirm inventory counts and update records using warehouse management systems
• Coordinate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines
• Report equipment issues, damaged goods, or discrepancies promptly to supervisors
Required Skills and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent education
• At least one year of experience in warehouse operations or material handling preferred
• Proficiency in safely operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems
• Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and dependability
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, or reaching for extended periods
• Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and following standard operating procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
• Forklift certification or prior experience with heavy warehouse equipment
• Experience in a high-volume production or distribution environment
• Knowledge of inventory software and scanning technologies
