WAREHOUSE & OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE Diversitec | Midlothian, Virginia | Full-Time | Reports to: Warehouse Manager Position Summary Diversitec is seeking a dependable, hardworking Warehouse & Operations Associate to support daily warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and material-handling activities. The ideal candidate has a strong work history, takes initiative, follows through on responsibilities, and can work productively with limited supervision. Key Responsibilities ● Receive, unload, inspect, organize, and store incoming materials and products. ● Pick, pack, stage, and prepare orders or materials for shipment; assist with loading and unloading. ● Verify incoming and outgoing materials against packing slips, work orders, and shipping documents. ● Maintain accurate inventory; assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and discrepancy resolution. ● Keep warehouse locations, materials, and work areas clean, safe, and organized. ● Safely move materials using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment as qualified. ● Complete basic shipping/receiving documentation and data entry. ● Communicate shortages, damage, delays, or other issues promptly to the Warehouse Manager. ● Complete assigned work accurately and efficiently and take initiative when additional work is needed. Required Qualifications ● Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in warehouse operations, logistics, shipping/receiving, inventory, manufacturing, construction materials, production, equipment handling, or a similar operational environment. ● Demonstrated record of dependable attendance, punctuality, accountability, and follow-through. ● Strong work ethic with the ability to remain productive without constant supervision. ● Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to accurately count and track materials. ● Ability to follow instructions, communicate professionally, and work effectively as part of a team. ● Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory, shipping, or warehouse-management systems. ● Ability to safely perform physical warehouse duties, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, and moving materials as required. Preferred Qualifications ● Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory-control, or logistics experience. ● Forklift/pallet-jack experience or certification. ● Experience with ERP, WMS, inventory, or shipping systems. ● Experience with commercial carriers, freight, UPS, FedEx, or similar shipping processes. ● Logistics/supply or experience in manufacturing, technical, or production environments.
