Warehouse Operations Assistant

Responsibilities Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, re-wrapping boxes, box cutters, ladders. Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, updating inventory management software, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping. Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing orders for dispatch, verifying shipment accuracy, and managing inbound/outbound logistics. Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and packaging to prepare products for storage or shipment while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations. Use technical proficiency with warehouse equipment operation and inventory management to streamline daily operations. Follow safety regulations diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to OSHA standards, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Collaborate with warehouse supervisor on stocking strategies, order picking accuracy, and process improvements to enhance overall warehouse efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution or operations with familiarity product auditing (recommended) Knowledge of inventory management practices and materials handling techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper manual handling procedures. (Up to 50 lbs) Basic math skills for counting stock accurately and processing shipments. Previous experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
