Job Overview This position will serve rolls in both our warehousing and LTL operations divisions as needed to ensure that the needs of the drivers and customers are met. Essential Job Functions of Warehousing: Communicate with drivers about appointments & trailer numbers Communicate appointment issues Inform driver about stop changes Inform driver of pick-up numbers Help securing appointments Communicate with pickup driver about pulping product Restack product Assist with dock duties Create trip envelopes Counting inventory Maintain Checklist for outbound loaded calls Essential Job Functions of Operations: Call the driver - verify they got all the trip information. Go over Pickup numbers for each stop - and pallets associated with each pick up number Go over each stop Remind of Reefer setting and Temp. 35 Continuous is default. Remind to pulp all cold products and report if temp is over 39 degrees. Remind to Load lock product in TIGHT as it will spill all over the trailer. Remind them we need the product to the dock as soon as legally possible for load out. Remind them the check in process when they arrive in Lake Alfred. Schedule: During the slower season in the warehouse the position will run a dual schedule in both operations and warehouse administration.
