Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Warehouse Operation Coordinator to lead and optimize our warehouse and logistics functions. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, coordinate distribution activities, and ensure seamless supply chain processes. Your proactive approach will drive process improvements, enhance inventory accuracy, and support efficient transportation and procurement activities. Duties Coordinate warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, stocking, and inventory management, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Manage warehouse operations using advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), process transactions, and optimize stock movements. Oversee materials handling procedures, including manual handling and forklift operations, ensuring safety standards are strictly followed. Collaborate with procurement teams to manage sourcing strategies, negotiate with vendors, and communicate with clients. Plan transportation logistics by coordinating with clients, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier), freight carriers, and transportation management systems to optimize delivery schedules and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with standards, and shipping & receiving protocols while managing customs documentation for international shipments. Conduct category management activities by analyzing demand planning data, managing inventory control strategies, and adjusting stocking levels to meet customer service goals. Engage in cross-functional communication with production planning, customer service, vendor management, and supply chain teams to align operational priorities. Support procurement activities . Experience Proven experience in warehouse operations or supply chain management roles with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes. Demonstrated expertise in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Strong data collection skills complemented by analysis skills using Excel spreadsheets. Hands-on experience with materials handling equipment like forklifts; certification is a plus. Knowledge of shipping logistics including freight forwarding, NVOCC operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and international trade regulations. Familiarity with procurement processes such as sourcing strategies, vendor/vendor management experience, pricing negotiations, and demand planning practices. Ability to perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot issues related to inventory discrepancies or process inefficiencies. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across departments and external partners in a fast-paced environment. Practicing in a supply chain operations role with a focus on process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
