Warehouse Materials Handler

Choice Bagging Equipment (CBE) is looking for a self-starter, who likes variety in their daily work as a Warehouse Materials Handler. This is not a desk job. In this position, you are responsible for pulling parts, materials, components, and finished goods from inventory so production stays on schedule and customer orders ship accurately and on time. This role is hands-on and varied: you'll pick to production work orders and customer pick lists, stage materials, help with receiving and cycle counts, and keep the warehouse safe, organized and clean. What You’ll Do Pick materials, parts, and finished goods accurately from pick lists and work orders Stage and deliver materials to production lines so projects start on time and remain on track Verify item numbers, quantities, and lot or serial numbers before releasing items Pack, label, and stage customer orders for shipping Record picks and inventory transactions in the inventory software system Operate pallet jacks, carts, and (once certified) forklifts safely Help unload, inspect, and put away incoming shipments Take part in cycle counts and physical inventory Report shortages, damaged goods, and discrepancies to the Inventory & Purchasing Manager Keep aisles, racks, and work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards Follow all safety rules, wear required PPE, and report incidents or near misses Support other warehouse and production tasks as needed What We’re Looking For Required High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience Ability to read pick lists, labels, and part numbers accurately Basic math skills for counting and verifying quantities Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Reliable attendance and punctuality Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Preferred 6+ months of warehouse, picking, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience Forklift certification (or willingness to be certified on the job) Experience with scanners or an inventory/ERP system Basic computer skills Physical Requirements and Work Environment Stand and walk for most of an 8–10 hour shift Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs; occasionally move heavier items with equipment or team lifts Frequently bend, stoop, squat, reach, and climb step ladders Push and pull carts and pallet jacks Visual acuity to read labels, part numbers, and scanner screens Work takes place in a manufacturing warehouse that may not be climate controlled. Expect moderate to loud noise, moving equipment and forklift traffic, and seasonal temperature swings. Required PPE such as safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection is used as needed.
