Warehouse Materials Coordinator II, Stores
ONE GasJob Description Provide materials support and related services for operations in all service areas. Responsibilities Key Duties and Responsibilities Issue and receive materials, stock shelves, retrieve items from shelves, and package items for shipping utilizing tools and equipment including but not limited to: Bar code scanners Forklifts, dollies and pallet jacks Strapping/tying devices Wire cutters Vehicles Create material replenishment requisitions and coordinate transfers in and out of materials distribution center and/or satellite locations. Process material requests by reviewing documentation and coordinating requests with various stakeholders. Assist in the review of satellite transfers of materials from materials distribution center or other locations. Identify material levels and respond by communicating adjustments in replenishment of quantities to make maximum use of stores space. Identify and resolve incorrect shipment of material, expedite material as required, and review materials invoices for payment. Compile, maintain, and/or prepare records and reports including but not limited to: Inventory reports Material usage Order points/order quantities Material requests/transfer/receipt requests Freight cost reports Discrepancy reports Vehicle and/or forklift inspections Warehouse transfers, issues and receipts Fleet vehicle inspections along with motor vehicle record (MVR) reporting Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job. Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Requirements Associate's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. (Typically, one and a half to two years of relevant experience is equivalent to one year of formal education.) Experience This role typically calls for two to four years of relevant experience; (Minimum of one-year relevant experience is required). (Education can substitute for experience if applicable. Typically, one year of formal education is equivalent to one and a half to two years of relevant experience.) Working knowledge in reading and interpreting various types of company forms, transfer and purchase documents, freight bills and invoices, inventory lists, stock-out reports, manuals, computer print outs, stores documents, purchase requisitions, supplier packing lists, job orders, and manuals. Ability to research and resolve purchase order and inventory discrepancies. Ability to interact, advise, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers in a timely and accurate manner. Demonstrated ability in the use and function of office equipment applicable to position including computers and applicable software. Prior work experience and/or a demonstrated ability to learn: Storeroom and inventory policies and procedures Company purchasing procedures and budgets Expediting processes Oracle system and Meter Management System (MMS)Word processing, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Maintain physical and/or electronic filing systems Handling confidential and/or sensitive information Fleet vehicle inspections along with Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) reporting An understanding of policies, procedures, and use of terminology applicable to position. Experience composing and preparing correspondence and reports. Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English. Licenses and Certifications Required: Applicable driver’s license. Requires travel to other company offices and facilities. CDL preferred Preferred: Occupational Safety & Health Admin (OSHA) Forklift Certification Preferred: DOT Medical card, as required for certain MDC locations, to operate a one-ton company truck.
