Warehouse Material Handler (Returns) At E.G. Penner Building Centres Ltd., a COR Certified supplier, we strive to be the premier building, home improvement and design centre in Southeastern Manitoba. We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Warehouse Material Handlers to join our Warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing returned merchandise while providing excellent service to customers and supporting warehouse operations. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and working as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and process returned merchandise accurately and efficiently. Verify returned products and complete required documentation. Assist customers and team members with returns and product inquiries. Pick and prepare replacement products and customer orders as needed. Maintain organized return and storage areas. Load, unload, and move products safely throughout the warehouse. Operate warehouse equipment, including lift equipment, in accordance with safety procedures. Assist with inventory accuracy through proper product handling and labeling. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Support other warehouse duties and team initiatives as required. Skills and Qualifications: Previous material handling experience is a strong asset; however, on-the-job training will be provided. Strong computer and data entry skills are required. A valid Class 5 driver’s license and knowledge of lumber and building materials are considered assets. Physically fit with the ability to bend, reach, and repetitively lift up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail with effective time management and organizational skills. Ability to provide professional, courteous customer service and work collaboratively in a team environment. Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and a willingness to learn, with the potential to advance into a supervisory or leadership role.
