Job Overview The Logistics Team at Omega Air is seeking two contractors to join our dynamic logistics team. These are contract positions with the potential for full-time employment upon successful completion of the contract. Position Overview The Materiel Handler at Omega Air plays a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse operations, directly contributing to the success of the overall supply chain. This position is responsible for the physical handling of materials—receiving, storing, and distributing goods across storage, production, and shipping areas. The role supports production timelines, maintains accurate inventory records, and ensures a smooth and timely flow of materials throughout the facility. Responsibilities & Skills: Attention to Detail: Accurately receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments to ensure all materials meet quality and quantity standards. Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and easily accessible warehouse space. Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly routed to relevant departments. Communication: Communicate clearly and professionally across all levels of the organization to support operational coordination. Problem-Solving: Be a proactive self-starter capable of identifying, reporting, and resolving inventory discrepancies and other warehouse-related issues. Computer Proficiency: Demonstrate competency with logistics software and other digital tools essential to inventory and warehouse management. Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting items over 50 lbs and able to stand or walk for extended periods as required by warehouse operations. Equipment Operation: Skilled in the safe operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery.
