Role and Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Material Handler at Frito-Lay, you will manage the receipt, storage, and movement of products and materials. You will work closely with the logistics team to ensure smooth operations, using your attention to detail and physical capability to meet daily production and shipping goals.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming shipments to maintain inventory accuracy
• Pick, pack, and stage products for shipment following company guidelines
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety standards and protocols
• Verify inventory counts and update records using warehouse management systems
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet production schedules
• Report equipment issues, damages, or discrepancies to supervisors promptly
Required Skills and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and reliability
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or reach for extended periods
• Commitment to workplace safety and following standard operating procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
• Forklift certification or experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse
• Prior experience in a fast-paced production or distribution environment
• Familiarity with inventory management software and scanning devices
