Warehouse Material Handler – Roles & Responsibilities Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment accurately and efficiently. Verify product, quantity, order information, and packaging requirements. Apply the correct product, shipping, and barcode labels. Ensure labels are accurate, legible, and properly placed. Inspect products and packages for damage or discrepancies. Complete required scanning and inventory transactions. Stage completed orders in designated shipping areas. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety, quality, and warehouse procedures. Report product, inventory, packaging, or labeling issues promptly. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Improved in-stock rates and service levels Reduced stockouts and order cancellations Optimized inventory levels and working capital Faster response to demand changes and supply disruptions QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED preferred. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Basic understanding of warehouse operations, order fulfillment processes, and inventory handling. Familiarity with wave‑based picking or task assignment preferred. Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse systems is a plus. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred. Ability to follow detailed instructions and prioritize work based on wave assignments Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, physically active environment Dependable attendance and ability to meet productivity expectations Ability to communicate clearly with peers and supervisors LOCATION 2970 N. Drury Ln. Republic, MO 65738 (Onsite) The work environment is a warehouse or distribution center. The role involves exposure to moving equipment, conveyor systems, varying temperatures, moderate noise levels, and packaging materials. Personal protective equipment may be required. PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION STANDING/WALKING: Ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time exceeding 6 hours. LIFTING: Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, pull, and transport up to 40–50 pounds. REPETITIVE MOTION: Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and arms related to labeling, packaging, and material handling. VISION: Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION REASONING ABILITY: Ability to manage project tasks, make daily work assignments, troubleshoot process issues, and adjust labor deployment to meet project goals. MATHEMATICS ABILITY: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, including tracking quantities, counts, and completion of metrics. LANGUAGE ABILITY: Ability to read, interpret, and communicate work instructions clearly and effectively to diverse teams.
