Warehouse Manager – Pool & Construction
AzureonPosition Summary We are seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. This position is responsible for inventory control, receiving and distribution, warehouse organization, order fulfillment, and team supervision. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with pool parts, equipment, plumbing supplies, or construction materials is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring an efficient, organized, and safe work environment. Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, organizing, and distributing materials and supplies. Establish and monitor minimum/maximum inventory levels and reorder points to prevent shortages and excess inventory. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical inventory counts and audits. Identify inventory discrepancies, damaged products, obsolete materials, and potential losses and take appropriate corrective action. Oversee all shipping and receiving activities , including verifying quantities, inspecting deliveries, and documenting discrepancies. Ensure products and materials are properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible. Coordinate the timely preparation and fulfillment of orders for internal teams, technicians, customers, and job sites. Supervise, train, and coordinate warehouse employees, including assigning daily tasks and monitoring productivity. Promote and enforce company safety policies and proper warehouse procedures. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment. Operate and oversee the safe use of forklifts, pallet jacks, hand tools, and other warehouse equipment. Coordinate with purchasing, service, construction, and operations teams to ensure materials are available when needed. Assist with purchasing and vendor coordination as needed. Develop and maintain efficient warehouse processes and procedures. Prepare and maintain inventory and warehouse reports. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 2 years of warehouse, inventory control, or warehouse supervisory/management experience . Experience managing inventory, receiving, shipping, and order fulfillment. Experience with pool parts, pool equipment, plumbing supplies, construction materials, or a related industry is strongly preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Previous experience supervising or leading warehouse employees preferred. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse management and inventory systems. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, customers, and internal departments. CDL Class B license is preferred. Ability to safely operate or learn to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds or more as required. Ability to work in a warehouse environment and outdoors when necessary. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious with a strong work ethic.
