Warehouse Manager – Perks Reclaimed

About the Role The Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of Perks Deconstruction's reclaimed materials warehouse, including operations, profitability, staffing, customer experience, and process management. This is a unique opportunity to work in the growing world of material reuse and sustainability while doing work that has a real, visible impact. You’ll have the autonomy to shape the warehouse store and help grow a business that is changing how we think about building materials. Perks Reclaimed has robust systems, resources, tools and processes to support the Warehouse Manager in successfully performing their role. This is a full-time, on-site role accountable for the warehouse's financial performance and for maintaining a professional, safe, and welcoming space that reflects the company's brand. The Warehouse Manager reports directly to the Operations Coordinator and serves as the face of the warehouse retail operation, connecting customers with the Perks Deconstruction office staff. Key Responsibilities Revenue Target Achievement Ensure materials are processed, organized, bundled, and posted online for sale. Define pricing strategy and track revenue and profitability via a monthly P&L. Handle cash deposits on a weekly basis. Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the warehouse’s supply of reclaimed and consignment materials, while building strong relationships with contractors, vendors, and community partners. Use the POS system to manage inventory type and levels to meet sales goals. Customer Experience Communicate with all customers in a professional and polite manner to maintain a customer service rating of 4.5/5 on Facebook Marketplace and Google Reviews. Invite customers to share photos of completed projects and join the newsletter list. Respond to customer inquiries via social media, text, call, and email within 24 hours. Maintain the Material Request form and follow up on customer material needs. Operational Management Maintain a clean, welcoming, professional, and organized warehouse space. Maintain a safe work environment for staff and customers. Serve as the main point of contact with the landlord for warehouse maintenance needs Keep SOPs current. Organize and prepare the warehouse for seasonal events, monthly BBQs, and special occasions. Some forklift operation will be required. Training will be available. Maintain PPE stock, site protection, and team supplies. Partner with marketing/business development to creatively promote materials (newsletters, videos, social media). Team Leadership Conduct bi-weekly 1:1s (30 minutes each) with warehouse reuse associates. Interview, hire, and train new warehouse reuse associates. Coordinate with the team to ensure all listings/ads are posted. Build and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate shift coverage. Direct staff and uphold safety standards at the warehouse. Administrative Tasks Assist with basic IT support (phones, printers, computers, security cameras, software). Provide the Owner/Operations Coordinator with weekly reports on issues and inquiries. Deliver warehouse KPIs for management meetings, including inventory data from Shopify. Compensation & Schedule: Pay: $27-32/hour plus up to $15k in Bonus and Commission. Overtime: Paid at time and a half; must be approved in advance. Bonus and Commission available based on performance. Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, 5 days, 8:45 AM–5 PM.
