Warehouse Manager/Natural Stone-Quartz

Warehouse Manager: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, production, fabrication, and installation aspects of company. Core Responsibilities Operations Management: Daily/Weekly/Monthly scheduling for templates, cutting, fabrication, installation, and warranty. Lead the team to complete projects on requested timeframes. Team Coordination: Project coordination between salesperson, template, sawyer, fabricator, and installer to achieve positive outcome of final products. Inventory Control: Receive, inspect, organize and maintain the ongoing health of slab & tile inventory in warehouse and yards. Receiving weekly deliveries of slabs and periodic deliveries of full containers. Staff Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate warehouse personnel and installation crews. Maintain a proper level of experience and knowledge within the staff to achieve the desired results expected of the company’s reputation in the industry. Quality Control: Inspection of material coming into warehouse for defects and flaws. Quality control of final products leaving warehouse and being installed. Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA and workplace health and safety rules, maintain facility security, and inspect material-handling equipment (MHE). Supplies & Tools: Control and purchase supplies, tools, and equipment necessary to complete daily operations . Warehouse & Fleet: Repair and maintain warehouse, trucks, forklifts, and machinery necessary to perform daily operations. Keep yards and buildings in a clean, safe and organized manner to maintain the safety, presentation and growth of the company. Requirements & Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED preferred minimum. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in natural stone/quartz industry experience. Supervisory or leadership role a plus. Skills: Leadership through example, organized, multi-tasker, computer experience a plus, natural/quartz stone fabrication knowledge, customer relations, Licensed: Forklift operator, Valid Florida driver’s license, and knowledge of safety regulations (such as OSHA guidelines).
