We're looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager who can take ownership of warehouse operations, improve inventory accuracy, and ensure service technicians and construction crews have the parts, materials, and equipment they need to get the job done. You'll work closely with Service, Construction, Purchasing, and Operations leadership to ensure inventory is properly managed, orders are placed on time, and materials are ready when needed. Experience in pool and spa, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical services, construction, or a related industry is a plus. What You'll Do Warehouse & Inventory Management Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, organization, inventory control, and material distribution. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all materials, parts, tools, and equipment are properly tracked. Establish effective inventory systems, including labeling, bin locations, stock organization, and replenishment procedures. Conduct regular physical inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate system records. Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder frequently used items to prevent shortages and operational delays. Track inventory transfers, returns, damaged goods, obsolete stock, and materials assigned to specific jobs or departments. Purchasing & Material Coordination Coordinate directly with Service and Construction Managers to identify upcoming material, parts, and equipment requirements. Place orders for requested materials and parts, track outstanding orders, and confirm receipt and availability. Work with vendors and Purchasing to verify pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and backorders. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips, resolve discrepancies, and ensure inventory records are updated. Monitor special orders and delayed shipments, communicate potential issues, and identify alternatives when necessary. Prepare and stage materials, tools, and equipment for scheduled service calls and construction projects. Operations & Process Improvement Collaborate with Service, Construction, and Operations teams to support daily field activities and upcoming projects. Ensure materials are accurately assigned to the appropriate jobs, projects, or departments. Use inventory and field-service management systems to improve purchasing, inventory tracking, material allocation, and accountability. Identify opportunities to reduce waste, prevent unnecessary purchases, improve inventory accuracy, and maximize warehouse space. Develop and maintain consistent warehouse procedures, safety practices, and inventory controls. Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and professional warehouse environment. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, materials management, purchasing, or a related field. Experience coordinating warehouse activities and managing inventory in a service, construction, distribution, or industrial environment. Demonstrated ability to order materials, track deliveries, manage stock levels, and maintain accurate inventory records. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate shortages before they disrupt operations. Ability to coordinate competing priorities and respond effectively to requests from multiple departments.
