The Opportunity Warehouse Manager The Warehouse Manager is a key leadership position at Maumee Supply and is accountable for the performance, development, and daily execution of our warehouse and delivery operations. This person will lead the people, own the processes, and drive the results that allow Maumee Supply to deliver on our promise of being Complete, Correct, and On-Time. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall success of warehouse operations, including people leadership, receiving, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, shipping, delivery operations, safety, fleet, equipment, facility, and continuous improvement. This is not simply a supervisory position. We are looking for a hands-on leader who sets the standard, develops people, creates accountability, solves problems, and continually improves the way we operate. The successful candidate will build a high-performing warehouse team that takes pride in its work, holds one another accountable, and understands that excellent warehouse execution is a critical part of exceptional customer service. The Warehouse Manager works closely with Sales, Purchasing, Accounting, and other company leaders to ensure that operational decisions support the overall needs of the business, and has a seat on the company Leadership Team. Drive Accountability & Continuous Improvement Lead & Develop the Team Lead, manage, and hold the warehouse and delivery team accountable for performance, safety, service, and results Hire, train, coach, develop, and evaluate team members while building a positive, high-performance culture Set clear expectations and address performance issues promptly Oversee receiving, inventory, order pulling, staging, shipping, transfers, and customer pickups Ensure orders are Complete, Correct, and On-Time Continuously improve warehouse layout, processes, productivity, and efficiency Own inventory accuracy through disciplined receiving, put-away, picking, transfers, and cycle counting Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and lead the annual physical inventory Plan efficient daily delivery routes and oversee safe, reliable, and timely deliveries Manage driver hiring, training, performance, and compliance Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and operated safely Lead a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company standards Oversee forklift training, warehouse safety, fleet, equipment, building and facility maintenance, and security Proactively identify hazards, maintenance needs, and opportunities to prevent downtime Establish and monitor key operational metrics, including inventory accuracy, order accuracy, productivity, safety, and delivery performanc…
