Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Manager Position Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, inventory control, cycle counting, and material movement within a manufacturing environment. This position will lead department supervisors/leads and warehouse associates while partnering closely with Operations to ensure accurate and timely material availability. The role requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable managing people, warehouse systems, inventory accuracy, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Lead daily receiving, picking, cycle counting, and material movement activities across a one-shift warehouse operation. Manage and develop warehouse leads and associates while driving accountability and performance. Maintain 99.92% picking accuracy and identify root causes of errors. Drive 95%+ on-time delivery of materials to internal manufacturing customers. Monitor inventory accuracy, order verification, ASN issues, and other warehouse KPIs. Ensure disciplined inventory transactions and accurate reporting within ERP/WMS systems. Troubleshoot ERP/WMS connectivity and system issues in partnership with IT. Manage consignment inventory and related processes. Oversee RF scanners and other warehouse technology. Coordinate forklift fleet maintenance, service, and repairs. Oversee CDL drivers and ensure material pickup and delivery routes are properly supported. Partner with Operations and other departments to resolve material shortages and improve warehouse performance. Qualifications Required Warehouse leadership experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment. Experience leading warehouse supervisors/leads and hourly employees. Strong background in receiving, picking, inventory control, and cycle counting. Experience working with ERP and/or Warehouse Management Systems. Strong understanding of warehouse KPIs, inventory accuracy, and material flow. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable using operational data to identify problems and drive improvements. Preferred Experience with manufacturing ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Experience supporting manufacturing operations and internal material delivery. Experience managing forklift fleets, RF scanning systems, and warehouse technology. Experience overseeing CDL drivers and transportation activities.
