Location: North York, Toronto, ON Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Pay: $23/hour Employment Type: Full-time, in-person Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, manage a diverse team, and ensure the seamless flow of goods from receipt to shipment. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize supply chain efficiency, and uphold safety standards. Duties Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities including order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving to ensure timely delivery. Manage warehouse staff through effective team management, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and productive workforce. Oversee inventory control using ERP systems such as SAP or AS400, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and data analysis for continuous improvement. Implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance safety protocols within the warehouse environment. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations by conducting regular inspections and enforcing safety procedures. Collaborate with purchasing and supply chain teams to optimize warehouse distribution, packaging, and 3PL (third-party logistics) partnerships. Utilize computer skills and warehouse management systems to generate reports and analyze operational data. Coordinate order fulfillment activities including order picking, heavy lifting tasks, and shipments while ensuring quality standards are met. Foster excellent customer service by ensuring accurate order processing and timely dispatch of goods. Skills Strong leadership abilities with proven supervising experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting. Excellent communication skills in English. Advanced organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and using a computer. Knowledge of supply chain processes, warehouse distribution strategies, and continuous improvement methodologies. Technical skills related to computer science concepts applicable to warehouse management systems and data analysis tools. Experience operating forklifts safely along with knowledge of heavy lifting procedures. Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards. Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials throughout the workday. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Must be located in the Toronto/North York area . Experience with water filtration, plumbing, or mechanical work is an asset but not required.
