Role Description The Warehouse Manager role at Rubber-Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Romeoville, IL. This role oversees daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. The Warehouse Manager leads and schedules warehouse team members, monitors workload, and enforces safety protocols and standard operating procedures. This position is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating with purchasing, customer service, and transportation teams, and optimizing warehouse layout and processes for efficiency. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, resolving operational issues, training staff, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Experience managing warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop a warehouse team, with strong people management and communication skills. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), basic computer skills, and comfort working with productivity and reporting tools. Understanding of safety regulations, material handling best practices, and compliance in an industrial or distribution environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Prior experience in automotive, commercial, or industrial distribution environments is beneficial. Ability to perform the physical demands of warehouse work, such as standing, lifting, and operating material handling equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education in logistics, supply chain, or business is a plus.
