Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for operational aspects of the distribution center. The Warehouse Manager will plan, organize, staff, and direct all operations related functions and activities within the warehouse. Candidates should be proactive and forward thinking, strive to mitigate risks, and solve potential problems before they arise. Stone slab handling experience strongly preferred. The Warehouse Manager will be accountable for setting a leadership example and for building a team that drives continuous improvement. This individual will strive to achieve goals regarding productivity, inventory management, quality control, and cost management. Must possess strong operations acumen, employee relations, customer service, and leadership capabilities. The successful candidate should have an outgoing personality, perseverance, outstanding communication skills, ability to multi-task, self-reliance, and great time management skills. What You'll Be Doing: Inbound safety and timely materials inventory of material shipments Inspect and document incoming inventory Accurately account, track, and maintain inventory of incoming shipments in P21 Maintain proper accounting and documentation of shipped/delivered product in P21 Outbound shipping Inspect outbound product prior to shipping Work with the Customer Service Representatives and Account Managers to prioritize customer shipments and deliveries Plan and review driver routes to ensure efficient use of delivery trucks Safely and efficiently deliver product to customers Maintain adequate inventory of shipping and packaging materials such as pallets, boxes, tape, bubble wrap/peanuts, etc. Review shipping and logistics rates periodically to ship product in a cost efficient manner while maintaining high customer service levels Inventory management Periodically inspect, document, and maintain all warehouse equipment in good working standards, including but not limited to; delivery trucks forklifts, storage racks, tools, etc. You're A Great Fit If You Have: Experience in the tile or stone industry or slab handling experience strongly preferred. Ability to plan the efficient storage of inventory to support timely inbound and outbound shipping and receiving Extreme organization Perform periodic physical inventory counts to ensure that physical stock matches P21 and research discrepancies as necessary Management and supervision of warehouse personnel Minimize warehouse turnover Ensure that warehouse personnel follow all laws and company policies Equipment maintenance and management Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds Clean criminal and driving record What We Offer: What We Offer: Great Mon-Fri work schedule, 90% Company paid medical and dental insurance after 30 days, up to 4% total match 401k plan, paid holidays, and PTO.
