About the Role We're looking for a reliable, organized, and hardworking Warehouse Manager to take ownership of our day-to-day warehouse operations. You'll be responsible for ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time, maintaining inventory, purchasing warehouse supplies, and keeping the facility organized and running efficiently. The position is primarily focused on warehouse operations (90–95%). During available downtime, you'll also have the opportunity to make sales calls and follow up with potential customers (5–10%). Sales commissions are paid on any sales you personally close. There is also a great opportunity to transition into a full-time sales position if that's something you're interested in down the road. In fact, every salesperson currently at Pampa Lighting started by working in the warehouse and learning our products, operations, and business model first. We currently have four salespeople who followed this path. We're looking for someone interested in building a long-term career with Pampa Lighting, not simply filling a temporary position. For the right person, this role can be the starting point for significant professional growth within the company. Important: Our warehouse is currently located in Miramar, San Diego, and will relocate to Vista, CA, on February 1, 2027. Candidates must be comfortable working at both locations. Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations (90–95%) Manage daily warehouse operations, including picking, packing, labeling, and shipping customer orders. Ensure all orders are accurate, properly packaged, and shipped on time. Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse. Manage inventory, organize incoming shipments, and restock products. Monitor and purchase shipping materials, packaging supplies, and other items needed for daily operations. Take ownership of warehouse organization and identify operational improvements. Sales & Customer Support (5–10%, As Time Allows) Make outbound sales calls to contractors and prospective customers. Follow up with leads and existing customers to generate additional sales. Assist with customer inquiries via phone and email. Earn additional sales commissions on any sales you personally close. Warehouse operations and order fulfillment always take priority over sales activities. What We're Looking For Highly organized, responsible, and reliable. Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of daily responsibilities. Physically strong and capable of regularly lifting and moving packages weighing up to 50 lbs. Comfortable using computers and technology. Proficient with Gmail, Google Sheets, and/or Microsoft Excel. Able to learn and operate shipping platforms, printing systems, and inventory management tools. Self-motivated and able to work independently without constant supervision.
