About Straight Down Founded in 1989 and headquartered in San Luis Obispo, Straight Down is a family-owned golf apparel brand carried in more than 2,000 pro shops and resorts nationwide. Our warehouse ships wholesale, ecommerce, event, and custom embroidered orders, and we are looking for a leader to run it day to day. The Role Reporting to our Warehouse Production Director, the Warehouse Manager runs the warehouse floor from receiving through pick, pack, and ship, and leads our warehouse leads and associates. You will turn the plan into daily execution, keep orders moving to meet their ship dates, and own one of the most important numbers in our business: inventory accuracy. When NetSuite says we have it, it needs to be on the shelf. What You’ll Do · Plan daily workflow and wave picking with the Warehouse Production Director so wholesale, ecommerce, event, and embroidered orders ship complete and on time. · Own inventory accuracy. Run cycle counts and the annual physical count, trace every variance to its root cause, and make sure every movement is scanned and recorded. · Spot capacity and staffing problems early, and plan labor, overtime, and resources within budget. · Lead, coach, schedule, and develop the warehouse team, and build cross-training so we never depend on one person. · Partner with Sales Support and Customer Service on rush, event, and custom orders. · Own warehouse safety, report on accuracy, on-time shipping, and productivity, and keep improving how the work gets done. What You Bring · 5+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, including 3+ years supervising or managing hourly teams. · A track record of getting inventory right: cycle counting, variance investigation, and disciplined transaction recording. · Hands-on experience with an ERP and warehouse management system. NetSuite and RF-Smart are a strong plus. · Strong planning, prioritization, and communication skills, and the ability to stay calm and detailed under pressure. · High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. · Bilingual English/Spanish · Nice to have: apparel or embroidery experience, Pacejet, EDI, and forklift certification. This is an on-site warehouse role with regular standing and walking and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Straight Down is an equal opportunity employer.
