Warehouse Manager - E-Commerce Fulfillment

Applications without this background won't move forward. About Fitness Avenue Since 2007, Fitness Avenue has sold commercial-grade gym equipment to Canadians, online and through our retail showrooms. Our North York warehouse is the heart of the business: every rack, barbell and plate a customer orders ships from here. The role You'll run our North York warehouse day to day: a team of 6–8 warehouse staff, 100+ e-commerce orders a day (more in peak season), heavy and bulky products, and regular replenishment of our 3 retail showrooms. You'll report directly to the CEO and have real authority over how the floor runs. This is a hands-on job: you'll be on the floor, not behind a desk. What you'll do Lead, schedule and train the warehouse team; set daily priorities and hold people to clear productivity and accuracy targets Own pick, pack and ship for e-commerce orders and hit every carrier cut-off Plan and ship inventory transfers to our 3 retail showrooms Receive international containers and domestic shipments; inspect goods and receive them into the system the same day Keep inventory accurate through cycle counts and fast follow-up on discrepancies Work with Customer Service to resolve shipping problems, damages and returns Keep the facility safe and organized, and equipment maintained What you need 5+ years in warehouse operations 3+ years leading a warehouse team (Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor with direct reports) Proven experience in e-commerce fulfillment Daily use of a warehouse management system (WMS) and multi-carrier shipping platforms Clear written and spoken English Able to work on-site in North York Nice to have Retail store replenishment or multi-channel distribution Container receiving and heavy/bulky goods Forklift certification Lean / Six Sigma, or a track record of improving productivity with metrics Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations What we offer $65,000–$75,000 base salary, based on experience Annual bonus of 5–10%, tied to clear warehouse KPIs you control: order accuracy, fulfillment speed and safety Dental, extended health, vision, life and disability insurance On-site parking Direct line to the CEO and real authority: you run the floor and decide how to hit the targets Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m. No weekends.
