Warehouse Manager / Driver Flex – DME & Respiratory Equipment
Pedi Stat, Inc.Job Summary We are a leading provider of durable medical equipment (DME), enteral, and respiratory equipment serving patients throughout the Tampa area. We are seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Warehouse Manager / Driver Flex to oversee daily warehouse operations, handle administrative responsibilities, and provide delivery, pickup, and field support as needed. This is a hands-on position that combines warehouse coordination, inventory management, equipment processing, administrative duties, and field operations. The position is approximately 50% office and administrative work and 50% field travel and delivery support, depending on business needs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in DME, respiratory, and enteral equipment, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting the team. This individual will help ensure the warehouse remains organized, equipment is properly maintained and documented, inventory is accurate, and deliveries are completed safely and efficiently. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of DME, respiratory, or enteral equipment experience and be comfortable performing physical warehouse duties, including lifting equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations & Coordination Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse activities to ensure equipment and supplies are organized, accessible, properly maintained, and ready for delivery. Maintain an organized warehouse environment, including designated areas for clean equipment, returned rentals, equipment awaiting disinfection, and items requiring repair. Coordinate the receiving, inspection, cleaning, disinfection, processing, and restocking of returned rental equipment. Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, supply replenishment, and identification of shortages or discrepancies. Ensure equipment is properly labeled, stored, tracked, and prepared for patient deliveries. Pull and stage equipment and supplies according to delivery tickets and scheduled routes. Prioritize daily warehouse tasks to meet delivery schedules and operational deadlines. Identify opportunities to improve workflow, inventory accuracy, safety, and overall warehouse efficiency. Ensure equipment and supplies are handled and stored according to company policies and applicable regulatory requirements. Equipment Maintenance & Compliance Perform and coordinate routine inspection, cleaning, disinfection, maintenance, and repair of respiratory and related medical equipment within the scope of training and authorization. Ensure returned rental equipment is processed according to company procedures before being returned to inventory. Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and disinfection. Identify damaged, defective, or unsafe equipment and remove it from circulation until appropriately addressed. Follow applicable FDA requirements, DOT regulations, accreditation standards, safety procedures, and company policies related to medical equipment and oxygen handling. Maintain accurate documentation to support equipment traceability, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. Administrative & Office Duties Complete and maintain inventory records, warehouse logs, equipment maintenance documentation, delivery tickets, pickup records, and other required paperwork. Review delivery and pickup documentation for accuracy and completeness. Assist with coordinating daily delivery schedules, route assignments, and equipment availability. Communicate with dispatch, customer service, clinical personnel, and management regarding delivery priorities, inventory needs, equipment issues, and schedule changes. Use tablets, computers, routing software, and company systems to document activities and maintain accurate records.
