Warehouse Manager/Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Manager/Driver to oversee daily warehouse operations and manage delivery responsibilities for our plumbing company. This role is vital in ensuring that our inventory remains well-stocked for our plumbers and that deliveries are executed efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a good understanding of plumbing supplies, and a valid driver’s license. Duties Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including inventory control, stock organization, and maintaining accurate records. Organize and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely and accurate distribution of plumbing supplies to clients and job sites. Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver plumbing supplies, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Ensure the warehouse stays stocked with essential plumbing supplies needed by plumbers, monitoring inventory levels regularly. Assist in receiving shipments, inspecting deliveries for accuracy and quality, and properly storing items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to improve warehouse processes and delivery schedules. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Skills Proven experience in warehouse management or operations is preferred. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial vehicle operation is a plus. Knowledge of plumbing supplies or familiarity with plumbing industry terminology is advantageous. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management. Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment is beneficial but not mandatory. Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients. Commitment to safety protocols and procedures in both warehouse handling and driving duties.
