Calibre sales incPosition Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations in Vaughan, Ontario. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, order fulfillment, shipping, employee supervision, safety, and continuous process improvement. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for managing over 5,000 products sourced from more than 300 manufacturers while ensuring inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer service across Canada and the United States. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong warehouse management experience, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to drive productivity in a fast-paced distribution environment. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of more than 5,000 SKUs from over 300 manufacturers. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management and inventory tracking systems. Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities to meet customer demand. Lead and support cycle counts and annual physical inventory counts. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, damages, and stock variances. Manage seasonal inventory fluctuations and ensure product availability. Develop and maintain inventory control processes that improve accuracy and reduce losses. Warehouse Operations: Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, and returns. Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time. Develop and implement warehouse procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and productivity. Monitor order fulfillment performance and warehouse productivity metrics. Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization. Collaborate with Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, and Logistics teams to support operational requirements. Leadership & Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop warehouse employees. Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management activities. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback. Foster a positive, productive, and team-oriented workplace culture. Promote accountability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement. Shipping & Logistics: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across Canada and the United States. Work closely with carriers and transportation providers to ensure timely deliveries. Monitor shipping performance and resolve service-related issues. Ensure shipping documentation is accurate and complete. Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures. Conduct regular safety inspections and warehouse audits. Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective actions as required. Establish and maintain warehouse security procedures to safeguard inventory, equipment, and facilities. Ensure employees are trained on safe material handling practices and equipment operation. Continuous Improvement & Reporting: Track and report on key warehouse performance metrics. Analyze operational trends and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement initiatives that improve inventory accuracy, productivity, safety, and service levels. Prepare management reports related to inventory, labour productivity, shipping performance, and operational efficiency.
