Warehouse Manager

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to lead our distribution warehouse operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily distribution center activities, manage inventory control processes, and ensure seamless logistics operations. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize material handling, and foster a safety-first environment. Responsibilities Supervise all warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, transport (Drivers) and order fulfillment to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing clear managerial communication, training, and performance feedback to foster a high-performance culture. Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts, ensuring safe and proper use in compliance with OSHA standards. Implement process improvements using lean management principles to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and enhance overall warehouse productivity. Maintain accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts, inventory management systems, and warehouse management systems to prevent discrepancies. Coordinate logistics activities with transportation providers to ensure timely shipping & receiving while optimizing distribution center operations. Enforce safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Skills Experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, and distribution center operations. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse management systems. Proven ability to lead teams effectively with excellent managerial communication skills. Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as lean management. Skilled in operating material handling equipment including forklifts and heavy lifting techniques safely. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and materials handling best practices.
