Concentric CorporationFull Time Grand Island, NE Position Overview Concentric Corporation is conducting a search for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a high-volume distribution facility in Grand Island, NE. This individual will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient operation of the warehouse, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, staging, loading, returns, equipment, sanitation, and overall facility readiness. The Warehouse Manager will also lead and develop the warehouse team while maintaining accountability for productivity, labor utilization, inventory accuracy, safety, and service. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is comfortable being visible on the warehouse floor, adjusting priorities as business needs change, and holding the team accountable to clear performance expectations. Key Responsibilities Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, staging, loading, returns, repack, and sanitation Plan staffing and assign work based on inbound freight, customer orders, delivery schedules, workload, and operational priorities Ensure orders are accurately built, staged, and ready to meet loading and delivery deadlines Adjust staffing, workflow, and priorities in response to volume changes, absences, equipment issues, or other operational challenges Hire, train, schedule, coach, and develop warehouse employees Establish clear expectations for safety, attendance, productivity, quality, accuracy, and workplace conduct Monitor employee performance, attendance, overtime, productivity, and labor utilization Address performance concerns promptly and provide appropriate coaching and documentation Maintain sufficient cross-training and employee coverage across key warehouse functions Monitor warehouse productivity and identify opportunities to improve staffing, training, equipment, and workflow Coordinate inbound shipments and ensure receiving space and resources are available Verify incoming shipments for quantities, product condition, documentation, and accuracy Investigate and resolve receiving shortages, overages, damage, inventory discrepancies, and order errors Maintain accurate physical and system inventory through cycle counts, reconciliations, audits, and inventory controls Monitor inventory rotation, aging, breakage, returns, adjustments, and write-offs Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained, inspected, and operated safely Maintain required employee training and equipment certifications Investigate accidents, injuries, near misses, spills, property damage, and other safety concerns Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and operationally ready warehouse environment Review operational reports related to productivity, labor, inventory, receiving, returns, order accuracy, and other warehouse performance measures Maintain accurate warehouse, inventory, safety, training, equipment, and employee records Partner with delivery, sales, purchasing, finance, inventory, and HR teams to resolve operational issues Identify recurring problems, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions Recommend staffing, process, equipment, and facility improvements based on operational needs Provide hands-on warehouse support when necessary to ensure daily commitments are met Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or a related environment 2+ years of people leadership or supervisory experience Experience with receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, staging, and loading Demonstrated experience managing employee schedules, productivity, attendance, overtime, and performance Experience operating forklifts and other powered warehouse equipment Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification Experience working with warehouse, inventory, ERP, or similar operational systems Ability to read, understand, and act on warehouse productivity and operationa…
