Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $100,000 per year Work Location: On-site Position Overview Genox Transportation is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager – Aerospace Support to help establish and lead a new chemical storage and distribution operation in Titusville, Florida, supporting a major aerospace customer. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced warehouse and logistics professional to be involved in a new operation from the ground up. Our initial operation will utilize a temporary storage facility with secured dry van trailers before transitioning to a newly constructed, permanent warehouse, currently scheduled for completion in April 2027. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing operational procedures, managing inventory, coordinating deliveries, maintaining safety and regulatory compliance, and ensuring that our customer's material requirements are consistently met. This is a working management position. The Warehouse Manager must be comfortable performing hands-on warehouse and logistics duties while overseeing the operation. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Startup & Operations Assist with establishing and organizing a new chemical storage and distribution operation. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving, inventory control, storage, shipping, and deliveries. Help establish efficient workflows, inventory tracking systems, and material-handling procedures. Oversee daily operations at the temporary storage facility and assist with the transition to the permanent warehouse. Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient operation. Inventory Management & Distribution Oversee the receipt, inspection, documentation, storage, and distribution of packaged chemical products. Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper tracking and accountability of all materials. Coordinate timely deliveries to the customer's nearby manufacturing facility. Support Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory and delivery requirements. Conduct routine inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations. Ensure accurate shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading and delivery records. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with appropriate personnel to ensure material availability. Transportation & Logistics Coordinate local deliveries and transportation activities to meet customer requirements. Operate commercial vehicles as needed, consistent with licensing and company requirements. Maintain compliance with applicable DOT regulations and company transportation policies. Coordinate equipment availability, inspections, and preventive maintenance. Respond to time-sensitive delivery requests and changing operational priorities. Safety, Security & Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, DOT, hazardous materials, and environmental safety requirements. Maintain appropriate procedures for the safe handling, storage, and transportation of packaged chemical products. Implement and enforce site access, inventory security, and material accountability procedures. Conduct safety inspections and maintain required operational documentation. Identify operational risks and implement corrective actions. Support customer-specific security and facility access requirements. Leadership & Customer Support Serve as a primary point of contact for daily warehouse and delivery operations. Coordinate with Genox leadership, drivers, vendors, and customer representatives. Assist with recruiting, training, scheduling, and supervising warehouse personnel as operational needs expand. Establish performance expectations and promote accountability, safety, and operational efficiency.
