KBC Tools, Inc., is looking to fill the position of Warehouse Manager for our Michigan location , reporting to the Operations Manager. It's a day shift, full time Monday through Friday, so you'll enjoy a healthy work-life balance. This is a lead by example role. You'll be on your feet, working in an organized warehouse environment with a team of 5-8 team members . You will be leading, planning, and coordinating the daily schedule of activities regarding picking goods to fulfill customer orders (using an RF scanning gun), packaging and shipping goods, receiving inventory and putting it away, performing regular cycle counts, and many other tasks. You will be the manager, mentor, leader, trainer, and coach to the warehouse team. The Warehouse Team will report to you. Requirements: Our ideal candidate has a high school education, 3-4 years’ experience working in a warehouse management or supervisory role. Fed Ex shipping experience and forklift experience is an asset. ISO 9001, 6 Sigma, Health & Safety Training, and First Aid Training a bonus. The ideal candidate has the ability to be on your feet all day, is able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds on occassion. Strong communication and organization skills, ability to communicate well in English, both orally and written, and an Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint).
