Position Overview We are looking for a motivated, tech-savvy, and dependable Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our technology warehouse in Simi Valley, CA. This is a hands-on position focused on managing warehouse operations, inventory, and technology—not supervising employees. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and knows how to get things done without constant direction. We need someone who is organized, resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable working with computers and other electronic devices. This is not your typical warehouse position. Technology is at the center of what we do, so we're looking for someone with more than basic computer knowledge who can quickly learn new systems, troubleshoot issues, and confidently work with a variety of devices. Key Responsibilities Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring an organized, efficient, and productive workspace. Receive, inspect, sort, inventory, and prepare technology equipment for distribution. Work with laptops, desktops, tablets, and other electronic devices. Test equipment, identify technical issues, and perform basic troubleshooting. Assist with computer setup, software installation, device configuration, and data wiping. Maintain accurate inventory records using computer-based tracking systems. Organize and track incoming donations, equipment storage, and outgoing shipments. Package and prepare equipment for shipping and distribution. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse organization, processes, and efficiency. Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and proactively address issues as they arise. Support additional warehouse and technology-related projects as needed. Qualifications & Skills We're looking for someone who brings more than just warehouse experience. Strong Computer Skills: Must have intermediate to advanced computer knowledge and be comfortable working with hardware, software, and different operating systems. Self-Starter: Able to recognize what needs to be done and take action without waiting for instructions. Initiative & Ownership: Takes responsibility for warehouse operations and proactively solves problems. Quick Learner: Able to understand new technology, systems, and processes with minimal training. Adaptable: Comfortable adjusting priorities and handling a variety of tasks in a changing environment. Reliable & Accountable: Consistently dependable, punctual, and committed to completing tasks accurately. Organized & Detail-Oriented: Able to maintain accurate inventory records and an orderly workspace. Problem-Solver: Resourceful, practical, and comfortable troubleshooting technical and operational challenges. Independent Worker: Capable of managing daily responsibilities with minimal supervision. Hands-On Mentality: Willing to roll up their sleeves and handle both physical warehouse tasks and technical responsibilities. Preferred Experience Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics. Experience working with computers, electronics, or technology equipment. Familiarity with computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and basic software troubleshooting. Experience with computer refurbishment, device testing, or IT asset management is a plus.
