Warehouse Manager

Job Overview ALBACON is a 3PL for large electrical and mechanical equipment used in data centers. We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee daily distribution activities, manage inventory control, and ensure seamless logistics processes. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize warehouse workflows, and foster a safety-first environment. What you will do Run day-to-day warehouse operations at your site: inbound, staging, storage, outbound. Direct the independently contracted operations team that works for you; assign work, hold the standard, escalate issues. Work side by side with warehouse administrative clerks on paperwork, inventory accuracy, and customer-ready documentation. Protect people and product: forklift traffic, rigging/large-equipment handling, house rules. Own inventory accuracy, space planning, and exception reporting for high-value data-center gear. Coordinate with Operations on dock schedules and special-handling loads. You manage the team; you are not the primary lift operator. Escalate equipment, safety, or customer issues the same day. What you bring 3+ years leading a warehouse or 3PL floor (contract or W2 crew is fine). Comfort directing contractors and admin staff without being in every transaction. Working knowledge of inventory systems, BOLs, packing lists, and exception logs. Able to read a dock schedule and a piece of heavy electrical/mechanical freight. Valid driver’s license; forklift cert a plus but not the core of this job. Join us to lead a dedicated team committed to operational excellence!
