Warehouse / Shop Manager (Fire Safety Equimpment) - Sacramento, CA - $72,000/year | Full-time | Leadership opportunity This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced fire safety warehouse environment. You will be working both in the warehouse and yard, helping oversee day-to-day operations, supporting warehouse staff, assisting walk-in customers, organizing inventory, and ensuring materials and equipment are ready for technicians in the field. The majority of the job is working alongside the warehouse technicians doing the same work: filling different types of fire extinguishers. This is physical work. You’ll be on your feet most of the day. Summers are hot. There is no air conditioning in the warehouse (fans only). You’ll work with fire safety equipment, compressed agents, and chemicals while following PPE and safety procedures. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, hardworking, and pleasant to work with — someone who can lead by example and take ownership of the warehouse / shop operation. There is mandatory (paid for) training on an as-need basis, with requirements for Fire Extiinguisher licences, forklift driving. What You’ll Do Fill and service fire extinguishers Maintain organized inventory and storage systems Receive, stock, and prepare materials for field technicians Keep the warehouse, yard, and workstations clean and efficient Help solve day-to-day operational issues proactively Follow and enforce safety procedures and PPE requirements After succesful completion of your onboarding period, you'll: Oversee daily warehouse workflow and organization Support and coordinate warehouse staff Assist walk-in customers professionally and courteously Order and track warehouse materials and supplies What We’re Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability Excellent people skills and communication Humble: A mentality that no job is too small/unimportant for you to do.
