Fenix Group SPC in Minnetonka, MN is seeking to hire a Warehouse Manager to plan, direct, and administer all aspects of our warehouse, including: requisitioning, receiving, storing, stocking, distributing a wide variety of materials and supplies, and ensuring the enforcement of warehouse procedures and practices. This position will manage a team of 8 warehouse personnel.

A Day in the Life of the Warehouse Manager
You’ll spend your day completing a variety of tasks, including:
- Establishing operational procedures for activities, such as verification of incoming & outgoing shipments, handling and disposing of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current
- Conferring with department heads to ensure the coordination of warehouse activities with production, sales, purchasing, and deals with vendors
- Screening, hiring, and training warehouse personnel; assigning daily work assignments; and planning for future staffing needs
- Compiling, analyzing, and reporting on various aspects of obtaining, maintaining, and distributing inventories
- Establishing stocking, storage, and disposition procedures for all warehouse materials
- Preparing or reviewing requests for orders, stocking reports, annual contract agreements, and purchase orders
- Determining ways to maximize warehouse storage and prevent stocking of seldom used merchandise
- Developing procedures for the operation and maintenance of a computerized inventory control system and conducting reviews of inventory data
- Inspecting the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment & preparing work orders for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment
What You’ll Need to be Successful at Fenix Group SPC
At a minimum, you'll need:
- A High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of demonstrated management experience
- Work experience in a manufacturing environment
- To be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
