Warehouse Manager
Morski BrandsMorski Brands is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team in Portage, Wisconsin. The Warehouse Manager will lead day-to-day warehouse operations within our food manufacturing environment, ensuring materials, inventory and finished goods move safely, accurately and efficiently throughout the facility. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can combine strong warehouse operations experience with team leadership, inventory discipline and a commitment to food safety and continuous improvement. What You’ll Do Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, inventory control, order staging, shipping and product transfers. Oversee the proper storage, rotation and traceability of raw materials, ingredients, packaging and finished goods. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliations and physical inventories. Partner closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing, Transportation and other teams to support production schedules and customer shipments. Lead, train, schedule and coach warehouse employees, including leads, forklift operators, material handlers and shipping/receiving personnel. Maintain clean, organized and audit-ready warehouse areas. Monitor warehouse productivity, labor utilization, shipping accuracy, inventory accuracy and safety performance. Support food safety, GMP, HACCP, allergen control, sanitation and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities to improve material flow, reduce waste and increase operational efficiency. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics or supply chain operations. At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience. Experience in food manufacturing, food distribution, refrigerated/frozen operations or another regulated food environment is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of inventory management, shipping and receiving, warehouse workflows and cross-functional operations. Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, food safety, lot tracking and FIFO/FEFO practices. Experience with warehouse management systems, ERP systems and inventory software. Strong leadership, communication, organization and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
