Warehouse Manager

Keep Our Bakery Moving Behind every king cake shipment and bakery delivery is a warehouse team that gets the details right. Gambino's Bakery is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead that team, keep inventory accurate, and make sure ingredients and finished goods are where they need to be—on time. We're a family-owned New Orleans bakery known for our king cakes, doberge cakes, and classic Louisiana baked goods. If you're a hands-on leader who brings organization, clear expectations, and follow-through to a busy warehouse, we'd love to meet you. What You Will Do Lead daily receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations. Manage digital inventory records for ingredients, packaging, and finished products; conduct cycle counts and resolve discrepancies. Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse employees while holding the team accountable for safety, accuracy, and productivity. Coordinate with production, wholesale, and e-commerce teams to fulfill orders on time. Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe warehouse and follow FIFO rotation practices. Operate and oversee forklifts and material-handling equipment safely, coordinate maintenance, and improve workflow while reducing shrink and waste. What You Bring Current forklift certification required. Proven warehouse or distribution management experience; food, bakery, or CPG experience preferred. Hands-on digital inventory or warehouse management system experience; food and item tracking experience strongly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more as needed, with or without reasonable accommodation and appropriate assistance. Availability for early mornings and occasional weekends during peak periods, especially Mardi Gras and king cake season. Work Location: In person
