Warehouse Manager

You will be responsible for supporting the management with directing the daily activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing and shipping of products. Position Description: · Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees where appropriate · Perform tasks associated with the receipt, storage, shipment and fabrication of product and materials o Unload / load trailers o Pick / pack / ship stock / cycle count material o Cut-to-size · Adhere to and enforce basic housekeeping standards, safe operating procedures; e.g. OSHA, PPE, etc. and basic building maintenance · Maintain inventory accuracy through effective use of computerized scanning equipment and / or other inventory maintenance reports (Oracle 11i) · Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse · Facilitate and develop effective relationships with 3rd party freight carriers · Develop and maintain excellent customer satisfaction by providing unmatched quality & service · Anticipates potential schedule or priority delays and initiates plan for alternative actions · Accountable for ensuring that all procedures are in place and the activities are in line with company goals and objectives · Leads by example with a positive, “can do” attitude that motivates others in the location · Enforces quality standards and procedures · Responsible for overseeing the completion of assignments that are thorough, accurate and delivered in a timely manner · Proactively identifies and prevents quality issues from occurring · Committed to ongoing improvement in the work place by proactively seeking feedback and monitoring operational processes. · Performs other duties as assigned Position Requirements: · HS diploma or GED preferred · 5+ years of warehouse experience, 2+ years in a supervisory capacity · Experience with MS Office and basic math skills Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis · Follow all safety procedures Eligibility Requirements: · Must be 18 years or older · Must pass a background investigation as part of the selection process · Must pass the drug test as part of the selection process · Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Referral program Vision insurance Work Location: In person
