Do you love running an efficient warehouse and building a team that takes pride in getting it right? Signal Group is looking for a hands-on Warehouse Manager to own our fulfillment operation. Every order shipped from SolidSignal.com and Amazon.com goes through you. We’re a Michigan-based e-commerce and technology company, and our warehouse is at the center of it. You’ll have a real voice in how the operation runs. You’ll work alongside our Vice President of Operations and with teams across the company, and you’ll have room to improve processes as we scale. What You’ll Do Run the floor. Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns in a fast-paced environment, and work right alongside your team on the daily push. Get it out the door, and get it right. Make sure customer orders ship accurately and on time, and step in to solve problems when they come up. Build and grow your team. Lead, train, schedule, and coach our Warehouse Associates. Help them develop, handle performance conversations when needed, and take part in recruiting and hiring. Own the inventory. Manage stock levels, lead cycle counts, and keep received product stored and organized. Master the returns process. Take full ownership of the returns lifecycle so every step is handled quickly and carefully. Make things better. Use data and reporting tools to find what’s slowing things down, then build and refine the processes and documentation that keep us efficient as we grow. Keep it safe. Maintain a clean, OSHA-compliant warehouse and make sure everyone follows safe practices. Partner across the business. Work with supply chain partners and internal teams to keep goods flowing smoothly. What You Bring 5+ years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience A proven track record of leading and developing a team (required) Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, from shipping and receiving to inventory control Sharp analytical skills, and comfort using data to make decisions Clear, confident communication, both written and verbal A strategic mindset paired with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude The ability to stay positive and organized under pressure and juggle several priorities at once Proficiency with computers, warehouse software, and new systems A current hi-lo (forklift) certification (required) Flexibility to adjust your schedule when the business needs it Bonus points for: NetSuite experience, Hazmat shipping certification, familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), or a bachelor’s degree. We’ll gladly consider experience in place of a degree. The Physical Side This is an active, on-your-feet role. Expect a mix of standing, walking, and sitting throughout the day. The job involves regularly lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, and reaching while stocking and pulling inventory, climbing ladders, and using pallet jacks. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM Some Saturdays required The Signal Group is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.
