Serve ElectricWAREHOUSE MANAGER Serve Electric | Grand Rapids, MI ABOUT THIS ROLE If you're organized, good with your hands, and like keeping things running behind the scenes, this is your next move. As our Warehouse Manager, you'll team up with our Project Managers and Purchasing crew to keep materials, tools, and equipment where they need to be, when they need to be there. This is a hands-on role (not a desk job) where you'll split your time between the warehouse and job sites and become the go-to person our crews count on. WHAT WE OFFER Competitive Pay: $23–$28/hr, based on experience Health, dental, vision, life insurance, and HSA Paid Time Off Overtime: Overtime opportunities available Steady Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM Full-Time: Full-time position with a growing team WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Overseeing warehouse service support programs, including equipment repair, safety initiatives, salvage operations, and tool and inventory management Receiving, storing, ordering, and issuing materials, supplies, and equipment for the branch Checking tooling in and out, and working closely with the Purchaser on regular inventory counts, restocking, and getting materials ready for projects Partnering with Project Managers to pull, organize, and deliver project materials and tooling Inspecting incoming stock, reporting shortages or damages, and returning defective or incorrect items Keeping records for purchase orders and deliveries, and processing receipts and other warehouse documents on the computer Determining the right storage space, stock quantities, and best methods to control and store inventory Monitoring stock levels and helping order materials when needed Driving a delivery truck, loading and unloading materials, and handling pickups and drop-offs between vendors, wholesalers, job sites, and the shop Safely operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Performing tooling repairs or coordinating service as needed Making sure key equipment is maintained on a regular schedule and service records stay up to date Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and secure WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING Strong people skills, both on the phone and in person Comfort working on the computer Strong organizational skills Ability to work well with your hands (building, welding, or auto experience preferred) Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment Experience towing a trailer Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record Ability to work in both warehouse and jobsite environments High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) 1 year of inventory management experience (preferred) Nice to have: Electrical parts background Auto mechanic experience CDL license If you're ready to be the backbone of our branch operations and want to join a team that values hard work and promotes from within, we want to hear from you!
