Summary

Oversees and directs all Warehouse Associate activities. This is a hands-on supervisory position requiring the individual to work alongside warehouse staff as necessary. This role is eligible to wrok an on-site schedule based out of our St. Paul, MN location. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise all warehouse persons with the exception of associate assigned to warehouse portables
  • Manage and direct all project work flow to warehouse persons with great attention to detail including projected timelines
  • Assist in pulling and prepping all shows
  • Manage warehouse inventory alongside the Logistics Coordinator
  • Collaborate with project manager and warehouse persons to finalize, update, and distribute show manifests
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse Leads to receive shows
  • Attend appropriate team meetings
  • Ensure properties are properly returned to storage after receiving
  • Manage warehouse equipment service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly
  • Maintain a safe environment and implement procedures and regulations to insure safety of all employees and take an active role in Sparks Safety Committee    
  • Maintain documented rules and regulations

Education & Experience

  • 5+ years of warehouse experience in the tradeshow and event industry
  • Ability to implement and maintain standardized operational procedures related to inventory control and warehousing activities    
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple large scale product launches utilizing strong organizational and communication skills
  • Forklift Certification
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player
