About Flyway Logistics Flyway Logistics is a growing Charleston-based logistics company specializing in receiving, warehousing, white-glove delivery, installation, and FF&E logistics for residential and commercial projects. We work with interior designers, builders, businesses, and homeowners to receive, store, manage, and deliver furniture, fixtures, equipment, and other high-value goods throughout the Charleston and Lowcountry market. We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to take ownership of the daily operation, organization, and performance of our warehouse. The Role This is a hands-on management position. The Warehouse Manager will oversee warehouse personnel, receiving, inventory, storage, staging, and the movement of client-owned goods. We are looking for someone who takes pride in running a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse and isn’t afraid to jump in and work alongside the team when necessary. Responsibilities Manage daily warehouse operations and warehouse personnel Assign daily responsibilities and hold team members accountable Oversee receiving and inspection of incoming furniture, FF&E, and freight Verify shipments against receiving documentation Ensure incoming items are properly labeled, photographed, documented, and stored Identify and document freight damage, shortages, and discrepancies Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse locations Keep the warehouse clean, organized, safe, and efficient Optimize storage space and warehouse layout Stage and prepare inventory for upcoming deliveries and installation projects Oversee loading and unloading of trucks Perform regular inventory audits Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment as needed Train and supervise warehouse employees Communicate receiving issues and inventory status with the operations team Protect client property throughout receiving, storage, staging, and loading Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes What We’re Looking For Required: Previous warehouse, logistics, inventory, or operations experience Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to lead and hold employees accountable Comfortable using computers and inventory management systems Ability to work independently and solve problems Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to perform the physical requirements of an active warehouse position Preferred: Previous warehouse management or supervisory experience Forklift experience Experience with furniture, FF&E, receiving, moving, or white-glove logistics Experience managing warehouse inventory systems Experience leading small warehouse teams Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on position. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly lift, move, and handle furniture, boxes, and other warehouse inventory. What Success Looks Like A successful Warehouse Manager at Flyway Logistics doesn’t simply supervise employees—they own the warehouse operation . Inventory is accurate. The warehouse stays organized. Incoming freight is properly inspected and documented. Damage is caught immediately. Projects are staged correctly. Employees know what they’re responsible for, and the operations team can quickly locate any client’s property when it is needed. If you’re organized, dependable, hands-on, and take pride in running an efficient operation, we’d like to hear from you. Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
